Dances of Resistance
Our summer production has already begun but it’s not too late for everyone to be part of Dances of Resistance. At Aanmitaagzi we all contribute towards making things awesome and the collaborations are getting more and more exciting as we are conducting our Aanmitaagzi Summer Arts Program (ASAP) while working on all the aspects of the Dances of Resistance production. The big performance is scheduled for August 28th & 29th and will encompass Dance, Puppetry, Spoken Word, Theatre and all forms of Visual and Media Arts. Click here for more details…

National Youth Arts Week Launch

Aanmitaagzi Winter Solstice Celebration
As the 2013 year comes to an end Aanmitaagzi would like to celebrate all the work that has gone into the collaborative development workshops of our large scale “Dances of Resistance” project. During this year hundreds of people have been involved in different capacities and we are looking to bring everyone together to showcase works in progress and share stories as we end our year. This also marks the last day for Aanmitaagzi events in 2013 which will start back up during the week of January 13th, 2014. Come out on December 21st for great snacks and refreshments as well as lots of community performances and presentations. We look forward to seeing you there!
