When Will You Rage? brings forward the stories of women who move past the fear of resistance to reclaim sovereignty. This 70-minutes dance theatre piece is an investigation of the history of personal, family, and community trauma and the passing of these traumas from generation to generation. Largely based on the stories of creator/choregrapher Penny Couchie, her great-grandmother, mother and aunts, When Will You Rage? honours those who have come before, recognizing and celebrating their strength and resilience.
